I'm applying for a mortgage, with 20% down to buy a two family home in CT as an investment property. The prices are really getting attractive, especially if you have cash.

At any rate, I came it at 690.

I got laid off from Citigroup in 2004. All my debt went bad. Got another good job on 2006. Paid everyone back, then started stacking paper like bricks. Came all the way back from a low 400 score to having lenders fight over my business now.

While 690 is not perfect, since I came back from the job loss in 06' and...

I was searching the net for some Matchbook info, when I came across this little piece by bookmakersreview.com. While it states financial troubles by WSEX & Matchbook have been largely known and reported by SBR they go on to state that SBR has attempted to bury recent BetPhoenix issues due to the fact SBR rides shotgun on BP's affiliate program:

Foxwoods Resort & Casino failed to make a November 16th interest payment to bondholders. They failed to make a measly $21 million dollar bond payment. They couldn't come up with $21 million!!!

Speculation is that Foxwoods may be on the ropes after it's highly leveraged addition of the MGM Grand has pushed them to the brink.

In a strange twist, some sort of tribal rules, Foxwoods cannot be forced into Chapter 11 by it's debtors. Basically, if a normal company defaults on bonds.....the debtors can force them into chapter 11 and make them liquidate in order to meet their obligations. Can't...

Stepped away from gambling and posting for a while. Don't get me wrong, I still find it wildy entertaining and I ended up leaving all my cash at my online books. When the market crash of 2008 occured in September I focused all my extra time and energy into understanding what happened politically, monetarily and what I could do to profit from it and position myself for the future. Then something happened, summer 2009 and the call fall air along with the leaves on the trees.....gambling fever hit me again. The unmistakable feeling of sweatshirts, beer and football hits like a breath of fresh air.....it invigorates the mind. Plus I needed a break from all the gloom and doom data I was analyzing on a daily basis. Here we are with the Fed chairman announcing the recession is over and all the data sets I look at says things are getting worse.

So, I jumped back in last week for the first time in probably 8 months and ended up 3-1. Not bad for being ice cold and basically walking away from sports in general. This week I'm going with Giants, Steelers and Pat. All spead, plus I bought a .5 point on all of them. I don't care what anyone says, gambling no matter how long you analyze the games.......comes down to luck, making a choice. Usually at the end of a season, money where I moved the lines always does better than just taking what the book offers.

 

I like the over 181.5 here for +103. Hopefully the Pistons will be on point with their 3-point shooting and also allow a few turnovers as they did in their last game.

Holy shit, it's the day before the bash. Can't fuckin believe it. Feels good to have some time off from work.
